Code of Conduct

We will not allow anyone to demean, threaten, attack, or otherwise dehumanise individuals or groups, or encourage others to do so. This includes (but is not limited to) the following attributes:

• Swearing or foul language in text, images, audio, or video
• Using misspellings, special characters, or other methods to disguise swearing
• Profanity in other languages
• Quoting or using songs with profane lyrics

• Discussing past or present elected officials and/or political parties
• Damaging or disrespecting political symbols, including flag burning
• Sharing inflammatory content related to borders, territories, jurisdictions, or tragic events

• Clickbait-type advertisements
• Repetitive, large-volume messaging across multiple groups
• Content created solely to direct users off the platform

• Sending or posting phishing or scamming links
• Requesting passwords or access to another user's account
• Selling or seeking to buy accounts
• Uploading unauthorised copies of content
• Selling digital assets for real money off-platform
• Artificially inflating likes or visits

It is not allowed to mislead others by impersonating someone else. This includes:

• Name or username
• Position or role in an organisation or community
• Digital representation (e.g. avatar, profile picture)
• Pretending to be the author of a post or comment

You may not link to external websites that promote products or services unrelated to the community's topic.

• Using VPNs to mask your location and gain unauthorised access
• Attempting to hack another user's account
• Launching cyberattacks of any kind
• Posting misleading links to phish for access
• Distributing malware to harm or access other users' devices

You may not share other people's personal information. This includes:

• Full name
• Email address
• Passwords
• Physical address
• Telephone number
• Unique identifiers (e.g. ID numbers)
• Images showing the face of a child

We love to see your images and videos, but please follow these rules:

• Children must not be identifiable in images or videos
• Get consent from anyone featured in photos or videos before posting
• If a consent violation is reported, we may remove the image or video

• Attempting to get prohibited content past our moderation team
• Opening new accounts to evade a ban or block
• Using bots for disruptive, large-scale tasks
• Re-uploading previously moderated content
• Falsely reporting other users or encouraging others to do so
• Flooding discussions or groups to damage their reputation

• Insulting or disparaging individuals based on intellect, appearance, personality, or other characteristics listed in "Discrimination"
• Encouraging coordinated harassment
• Wilful harm or intimidation, such as cyberstalking or trolling
• Wishing death, serious illness, or other serious harm on someone
• Exposing or threatening to expose someone's private information

We remove content that:

• Praises, promotes, glorifies, or supports any hateful ideology (e.g. white supremacy, misogyny, anti-LGBTQIA+, antisemitism, or conspiracy theories used to justify hate)
• Contains names, symbols, logos, flags, slogans, uniforms, gestures, salutes, illustrations, songs, music, or lyrics related to a hateful ideology
• Promotes or advertises conversion therapy or related programmes
• Denies well-documented violent events affecting protected groups (e.g. Holocaust denial)
• Claims supremacy of one group over another based on protected attributes

• Threatening to reveal personal information
• Taking over or impersonating another user's account
• Filing false abuse reports
• Threatening or causing real-life harm

• Sexually suggestive avatars, profile pictures, or usernames
• Sexually suggestive posts or depictions
• Simulating sexual activity with others, verbally, in text, or via emojis

• Abuse, torture, and realistic depictions of blood and gore
• Encouraging, promoting, or glorifying killing, crime, violence, or violent extremism
• Glorifying real-life weaponry, war crimes, or human rights violations

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
